A mum has revealed how she manages to feed her family for a week on an incredibly low budget.
The woman, who shops in Tesco, has come up with a list of 23 items which can be used to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for herself, her partner and her children for an entire week, and it costs just £15 – that’s just £2 per day.
She took to the Feeding Yourself for £1 a Day group on Facebook to share her shopping list and meal plan in the hopes that it would encourage other families to cut down their costs too, reports Birmingham Live.
The mum wrote: “I have created a shopping list as well as meal ideas to help people out there ensure their child/children are getting 3 meals a day for £14.94.
“It may be quite repetitive (especially breakfast). But any meal is better than no meal.”
